Resident Testing Instructions
1. To take a test, simply click on a test from the Home page, www.cordtests.org. Enter your individual resident ID and password. Then click on, "YES, I want to take the test now." You are then taken to the test.
2. While taking the test, you are given individual questions. If you are taking a Practice Test, you can click on "Grade" at the bottom of the page to see the correct answer and answer rationale, after you have chosen a potential answer. When you have completed a test, click on "Cover" at the bottom left of the page. Then click on "Exit" if you want to come back later and answer more questions. You have your choice of reviewing your test score and feedback if you choose "Finish and Display Results" if you are taking a Practice Test. With Scored Tests you are not given this option.
3. Scored Test results will be emailed to your residency, but not to you. Practice Test results will be emailed to you, but not your residency.
4. If you need to retake a test for whatever reason, contact your residency to reset that test by deleting that test score.
5. If you come across a question that you think is wrong or has grammar problems, click on the ! at the bottom of the page. Then write your comment. These are reviewed each year as the Question Bank is edited.
